Career - Timber and Composite Machinist

I need assistance to choose
Timber and Composite Machinists will set up and operate sawing, drilling, planing and joining machines and will programme and control computer-aided design (CAD) and computer numerical control (CNC) machines. They will estimate job costs and will read and interpret work documents in order to prepare accurate cutting lists for jobs. They will understand and use various timber and timber products to produce furniture and also will assemble furniture. They will select and install hardware to furnishing (such as handles and hinges) and also prepare surfaces for finishing and apply decorative finishes to furniture. They will clean and maintain work areas including machinery and tools to ensure safe working environments and will maintain, identify and analyse technical faults to machinery suppliers' requirements to ensure optimum performance.
