Career - Seafood Processor

Seafood Processors will Inspect seafood on conveyors and sort for size and quality and will fillet and trim fish. They will scrape skin and pick blood and other waste from pre-cooked seafood and will grade and pack fish for live markets. They will shuck and process shellfish and will pack seafood for transport. They will maintain temperature of seafood using a range of refrigeration devices and will operate machines that fillet, portion, slice, peel, skin, weigh or label seafood. They will clean and sanitise equipment and work areas and adhere to requirements for food handling and safety practices.
