Office Administrators will supervise and coordinate activities of staff and interview job applicants. They will be in charge to conduct orientation programmes for new employees and also administer salaries and determine leave entitlements. They will be involved in staff training and development, preparation of job descriptions, staff assessments and promotions and prepare annual estimates of expenditure, maintain budgetary and inventory controls and make recommendations to management. They will maintain management information systems (manual or computerised) and will locate suitable business premises and negotiate reasonable leasing agreements.They need to provide and maintain business premises and other facilities, including plant machinery and equipment and also review and answer correspondence. They will provide secretarial or executive services for committees.
