Career - Landcare Worker

Landcare Workers will kill and remove weeds and unwanted vegetation using minimal disturbance techniques or herbicides and will collect seeds from local and native plants. They will propagate local and native plants and will replant native trees, shrubs, grasses and wildflowers. They will take part in pest eradication programs and collect botanical and environmental data. They will map vegetation and construct and maintain tracks and facilities in bushland. They will maintain equipment and will apply control measures to combat salinity.
