Career - Hair and Beauty Salon Assistant

Hair and Beauty Salon Assistants will comb, brush, spray, shampoo, condition and rinse hair and will apply temporary hair colour and remove residual colour products. They will apply and maintain safe and hygienic work practices such as cleaning combs and other equipment and will maintain work areas by sweeping floors and cleaning benches and shelves. They will assist with salon reception duties such as answering telephone calls, making appointments, seating clients and taking payments and prepare refreshments for clients. They will assist senior staff with tasks and also display and maintain stock of hair and beauty products.
