Career - Engineering Manager

Engineering Managers will direct the formulation of engineering strategies, policies and plans and will ensure quality, cost, safety, timelines and performance standards are met. They will interpret plans, drawings and specifications and will provide advice on engineering methods and procedures to achieve construction and production requirements. They will liaise with marketing, research and manufacturing managers concerning engineering aspects of new construction and product design and will determine and put into place project and work schedules and budgets. They will ensure conformity with specifications and plans, as well as with laws, regulations and safety standards and will oversee maintenance requirements to optimise efficiency. They will control engineering staff selection and training and will coordinate the activities of engineering staff and will also contribute to research and development projects.
