Electronics and Communication Technicians will attend to breakdowns in electronics and communications equipment and will diagnose, test and rectify faults in electronic circuits and apparatus. They will troubleshoot digital subsystems, amplifiers and circuits and will find and repair faults in complex power supplies. They will service broadcast, microwave and satellite technology and also servide analogue, didigtal and data equipment signals. They will service fire and security alarm systems and will repair cameras, television receivers, DVD players, computers, and business and medical equipment. They will be capable to dismantle, assemble and fabricate electrotechnology assemblies and will install extra low voltage wiring systems and also install electrical and electronic control systems.
