Career - Early Childhood Educator

Early Childhood Educators will plan and implement developmental programs based on observation of individual children and observe and record children's growth, behaviour and development, and discuss these with parents. They will integrate children with special needs into the program, modifying the program and the physical environment if necessary. They will be in charge to supervise and train staff. They need to prepare play and learning materials and set up the children's environment and will also supervise children's play, ensuring their physical safety at all times. They will help children with daily routines such as toileting, dressing, eating and sleeping and guide their behaviour and social development. They will prepare light snacks and meals and maintain a safe, clean and appealing environment. He will perform basic first aid in emergencies.
