Career - Dietary Aide

Dietary Aides will discuss the dietary needs of patients with healthcare professionals and interview patients to discuss food preferences. They will assist with the planning of menus for patients and ensure food is hygienically and correctly prepared and well presented. They will maintain diet records and assist with the implementation of a nutrition care plan in consultation with dietitians. They will also assist with training staff to prepare and serve meals for patients with particular diets and will use computers for data entry and retrieval.
