Career - Data and Telecommunications Cable Worker

Data and Telecommunication Cable Workers will install, join or splice metallic and fibre-optic cables and will perform relevant cable tests to ensure joints and fibre splices comply with site and manufacturer specifications and relevant legislation. They will install underground and aerial lead-in cables and also above-ground equipment enclosures. They will fix cable faults, perform fault clearance and tag cables for future identification.
