Career - Clothing, Fabric and Textile Factory Hand

Clothing, Fabric and Textile Fabric Hands will undertake basic hand or machine cutting of canvas, upholstery or curtain fabrics and will operate automatic machines using computerised patterns. They will lay out and bundle fabrics and will press partially completed or finished garments. They will deliver material or bundles to machines and will make and attach tickets and labels. They will inspect and finish completed garments and will clean work areas, tools and equipment.
