Career - Civil Engineering Technician

Civil Engineering Technicians will Interpret work assignment instructions, apply appropriate procedures and select equipment under the direction of civil engineers, engineering technologists and engineering associates. They will conduct field and laboratory tests of construction materials and soils, and collect data for traffic surveys. They will also prepare computations, sketches, charts and tables for civil engineering works such as drainage, water supply, sewage reticulation systems, roads, airports, dams, bridges and other structures.
