Career - Animal Attendant - Animal Shelter

Animal Attendants - Animal Shelter will rescue injured and neglected animals and will prepare food and deliver food and water to animals. They will clean and prepare comfortable sleeping quarters for animals. They will clear away animal waste; clean, disinfect and maintain animal enclosures and cages; and check locks. They will bathe and groom animals, and treat them with insecticide to control insect pests. They will be trained to treat minor injuries and report serious health problems to veterinarians and will run tours of the shelter or sanctuary.
