The University provides a number of courses to help students develop their academic English language skills. These programmes help them to gain the language and academic skills required to gain access to a Kingston University and improve and develop their academic English language skills. Teaching methods vary from subject to subject, but most taught courses are delivered through lectures, seminars and tutorials. The other methods of teaching include language laboratory classes, project work, science and technology practical exercises, and studio work in art and design. Kingston University awards partial scholarships to international students every year. These scholarships are available to students who are classified with an overseas fee status.
