Developedas one of the first of its kind in the UK, thecourse is relevantfor engineering graduates who intend to enter or enhance their career prospects in the petroleum or natural gas industry.The course cover all aspects of gas resourcing and technology and explores the management and distribution of gas from practical and theoretical viewpoints. Alongside this specialised knowledge of natural gas, you will also developa range of transferableskills, such as mathematical analysis, problem-solving, communications and laboratory skills.On completion, you may be eligible to join the Institution of Gas Engineers and Managers or Society of Petroleum Engineers, which may enable future progressionto qualify as a Chartered Engineer. You will: Build specialist knowledge to pursue a variety of careers in the natural gas/oil industryIncrease your skills and technical knowledge in all aspects of gas technology and associated gas business managementUnderstand the utilisation of natural gas in terms of combustion, spray and atomisationDevelop associated gas business management skills relevant to contemporary commercial practicesComplete your studies in advanced spray and combustion laboratories
