About the course
The Foundation Year provides an opportunity to build up your academic writing skills and numeracy, and will also cover a range of subject specific content to fully prepare you for entry to an Undergraduate degree. This is an integrated four-year degree, with the foundation year as a key part of the course. You will need to successfully complete the Foundation Year to progress on to the first year of your bachelor’s degree. During your Foundation Year you will get the opportunity to talk to tutors about your degree study and future career aspirations, and receive guidance on the most appropriate Undergraduate course to help you achieve this; providing you meet the entry requirements and pass the Foundation Year.From the office and the high street to your home and the car you drive, computer networks are everywhere, helping us live more productive lives. The University of Bedfordshire is a public university situated in Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire, England. The university has roots from 1882, however, it gained university status in 1992 as University of Luton. Then changed the name to the University of Bedfordshire in 2006 by the approval of the Privy Council by merging the University of Luton and the Bedford campus of De Montfort University.The university is sprawled across six campuses; there are 4 campuses in Bedfordshire, in Luton and Bedford, 2 campuses in Buckinghamshire, in Aylesbury (for the students of Midwifery and Nursing) and in Milton Keynes (for business studies, telecommunications and electronic engineering). The university had entered the Research Assessment Exercise in 2008 and had achieved a GPA of 2.087 with 34.7 percent internationally.
