This two-year program is designed for applicants who have a bachelors degree in any field and can meet minimum GPA requirements. You can also apply if you have a Graduate Certificate in Tourism, Hotel and Event Management from UQ.Complete a range of foundation and core courses that cover key aspects of hospitality, tourism and events. You will gain a deeper understanding of the fundamentals and undertake advance-level coursework specific to your career aspirations.Choose from three specialist fields of study: Event Management, Hotel Management, or Travel and Tourism Management. This allows you to tailor your academic experience and gain specialised knowledge in the areas that will benefit you most. Undertake a work-integrated learning experience or a destination study tour, which allows you to develop and apply your capabilities for professional practice. You will also have the option to undertake a tourism thesis or industry placement. This field prepares you to work in the dynamic and rapidly expanding area of event management.
