About the course
The global construction market is growing, with the major drivers of growth attributed to increasing demand for housing and rising infrastructure needs due to urbanisation and growing populations. There is increasing demand for graduates with a professionally recognised qualification and an understanding of the multidisciplinary construction landscape. La Trobes Master of Construction and Engineering Management will prepare you to effectively manage complex building, civil or infrastructure projects while implementing effective and sustainable industry practices. As well as gaining key technical skills, You will have the opportunity to apply your skills via industry-based problem-solving, or work-integrated learning placements. Alternatively, you can develop your research skills through a minor thesis project in your final year. Subjects for this course have been co-created with industry to ensure you will meet the needs and challenges of the future work force, including environmental and sustainability practice, project management and negotiation, risk management and innovative construction principles.Intake Months
