These scholarships are to be additive by nature (create new funding packages) and aim to increase graduate school opportunities for Black and/or Indigenous applicants who have significant accomplishments that may not be included in conventional graduate admission criteria but who can be admitted through non-standard admission and have great potential to succeed, or are highly admissible, but admission is limited due to lack of funding availability (Departmental, Faculty or PI) in a funded program, or would not accept an offer of admission due to lack of resources to pay for an unfunded program
Applicants may apply for multiple awards on one U of T Student Award Application Form if you meet the award criteria. A separate application form is required for each term.
