This award is named in honour of Franco Vaccarino, Vice-President and 8th Principal of University of Toronto Scarborough. Admission scholarship awarded to a full time domestic or international graduate student who is affiliated or intends to affiliate with the University of Toronto Scarborough on ACORN, and whose Graduate Research is based at the Scarborough Campus. To be awarded on admission on the basis of academic merit, experiential University-based contributions, and demonstrated success or impact in areas outside of academia (e.g. sports, arts, music, social enterprise). Experiential learning includes undergraduate or graduate research, Field Courses, Clinical Placements, Internships, Practicum placements, Co-op placements, Studies Abroad and Community-Engaged learning within a credit course.
