Applicants must be or identify as a woman. Applicants must be a passport holder and permanent resident Mexico. Applicants must have submitted an application to study on one of the eligible University of Strathclyde postgraduate programmes, as listed above, before your application for the British Council Scholarship for Women in STEM can be considered. Applicants must have completed all components of an undergraduate degree that will enable you to gain entry onto a postgraduate programme at the University of Strathclyde by the time you submit your application and be due to start your postgraduate programme in the UK during 2024. Applicants should demonstrate a case for financial/socio-economic support need via a means-test conducted by the University of Strathclyde. Applicants should not be in receipt of financial support or funding towards their study programme in the UK from any other source and not be able to privately fund their UK studies. Preference will be given to candidates who have not had any international exposure prior to this scheme. Applicants must have not previously studied at degree level or higher in the UK or lived recently in the UK. Distance learning at a UK university or study at a UK branch campus in another country will also be considered as studying in the UK. Applicants should meet the English language requirement of the University of Strathclyde.
