This course covers the principles of modern language teaching, producing an effective classroom environment and how to work in the field of education. Centred around the United Nations Convention of the Rights of the Child, this degree has a rigorous academic programme. There is a human element to the course which encourages individuality and communication. In the past, trainees have achieved 100% good to outstanding at the end of their placements and there is a very high employment rate. Department for Education bursaries are available for this course.
You must have successfully completed an United Kingdom Bachelor degree (or equivalent overseas qualification) or/with full-time or equivalent, work experience in a relevant industry setting. Meeting the minimum academic requirements does not guarantee entry. Your application will still need to be assessed and accepted. If you dont meet the entry requirements, there may be other programs you are eligible for that can lead you to your preferred program.
