Humber’s Clinical Research graduate certificate program prepares graduates with the transferable skills needed to build successful careers in a variety of clinical trial management and research sectors. This program focuses on developing the concepts, skills and techniques required to work in the clinical research field. You will gain knowledge and skills in the planning and management of clinical research including practices related to the organization, execution and monitoring of clinical trials. You will learn clinical trial protocol development as part of the principles and processes of clinical trial design. There is an emphasis on maintaining good clinical practice (GCP) as presented by the International Conference on Harmonization (ICH), along with the importance of data collection, analysis, recording and auditing - all to ensure that clinical trial data are credible and accurate. You will become familiar with the many regulations and guidelines established to ensure trials are conducted ethically and in ways that respect the rights of clinical trial participants, while ensuring the execution of robust scientific research.
