Get your building career off to a great start through this comprehensive certificate. The popularity of this programme reflects the excellent employment opportunities for graduates. Two strands are available. If you are looking for a career in either the residential or commercial construction field, and enjoy working outdoors and pulling together big elements to build a structure, then the Carpentry strand is for you. If you would like to work on panel products and the wooden components of buildings like stairs, kitchens, doors and fittings, if you have an eye for detail and working with precise measurements, the Joinery strand is for you. The programme is supported by the Industry Training Association Building (ITaB) scheme and the BCITO.
