Develop the knowledge, skills and understanding of business, operations and strategy to prepare you for a career in engineering management. Our course builds your skills in leadership and management and teaches you how to apply them in an engineering context. Youll explore the impact of new technologies and how they relate to management in the engineering sector. Your studies will include business analysis, product development and supply chain management. Throughout the course, youll develop a strong foundation in management essentials such as project management, strategy, operations and finance. Youll also have the opportunity to focus on areas of management that are most interesting to you. Project work is a key feature of the course. Youll work in multidisciplinary teams with students who bring knowledge from a range of backgrounds. You can also choose to carry out a practice track project which allows you to work on a real-world engineering management challenge together with an industrial partner.
You must have successfully completed an UK Bachelor degree (or equivalent overseas qualification) or/with full-time or equivalent, work experience in a relevant industry setting. Meeting the minimum academic requirements does not guarantee entry. Your application will still need to be assessed and accepted. If you dont meet the entry requirements, there may be other programs you are eligible for that can lead you to your preferred program.
