The course combines practical and theoretical aspects of flight, with the underlying principles of aircraft engineering. During your studies, you’ll develop the skills to recognise and alleviate risk, create a safe and efficient operating environment, and gain competence in assessing and communicating vital information. Combining mathematics, science, computer-based methods, design and engineering you will learn to solve complex aircraft engineering problems.With our MEng integrated masters pathway, youll advance your studies to explore how you can enhance flight performance, as you develop flight assimilation and air navigation skills. You will: Build in-depth knowledge of avionic systems, including communication, flight instruments, flight management and passenger systemsExplore business economics in route planning, learning the techniques and methodologies used for aircraft navigationComplete a flight test course using the Cranfield National Flying Laboratory CentreChoose to include an optional structured pilot training programme leading to the opportunity to gain a Private Pilot Licence
