This one-year course offers you the chance to top up your mechanical engineering foundation degree or HND to an honors degree qualification. It will broaden your range of skills and improve your career prospects. Mechanical and manufacturing engineers analyze, test, design, construct and manage various systems. They are employed by automotive, aeronautical, medical, consultancy, construction, manufacturing and building services industries. Throughout this practical engineering course, you will develop the range of specialist skills, knowledge and understanding needed to become an incorporated engineer. The course is mostly delivered through lectures with specific laboratory and coursework activities built in to give practical insights into the theory. You will also undertake around 20 hours of independent study each week.
