The Master of Urban and Regional Planning degree combines rigorous academics, top planning and design professionals, and real-world learning opportunities to strengthen and revitalize the social, economic and environmental conditions in neighborhoods, cities and regions. Accredited by the Planning Accreditation Board, the M.U.R.P. program balances classroom and field experiences to train students on the technical and analytical skills needed to design, develop and implement plans. Students gain planning experience through hands-on instruction, client-based studio projects, and a required internship with our networks of public, private or nonprofit organizations engaged in exciting planning initiatives. Our curriculum is designed to be flexible to accommodate both full-time students as well as working professionals seeking a part-time pace. The M.U.R.P. program provides students the ability to specialize in a specific area of planning or pursue additional training through certificate programs and dual degrees.
You must have successfully completed the Bachelor degree (or equivalent overseas qualification) or/with full-time or equivalent, work experience in a relevant industry setting.Meeting the minimum academic requirements does not guarantee entry. Your application will still need to be assessed and accepted. If you dont meet the entry requirements, there may be other programs you are eligible for that can lead you to your preferred program.
