Areas of opportunity include, but are not limited to, mechanics of aerospace vehicles and structures, composite materials, finite element analysis, experimental and computational fluid dynamics, flight dynamics and control of aerospace vehicle, advanced control theory and its application to aerospace system, and electric propulsion. Opportunities for aerospace engineers continue to develop with the rapid expansion of the knowledge base. This graduate program reflects the broad spectrum of graduate education in mechanical and aerospace engineering including, but not limited to, mechanical system, structural dynamics, system design and controls, materials, experimental stress analysis, vehicle dynamics, experimental and computational fluid dynamics, thermal and power systems, fuel cells, noise and vibrations, finite element analysis, and micro and nano-technology.
You must have successfully completed a United States Bachelors degree (or equivalent overseas qualification) or/with full-time or equivalent work experience in a relevant industry setting. Meeting the minimum academic requirements does not guarantee entry. Your application will still need to be assessed and accepted. If you dont meet the entry requirements, there may be other programs you are eligible for that can lead you to your preferred program.
