The M.S. degree programs in biostatistics and genomic biostatistics are designed to train the next generation of data scientists and quantitative researchers in the biomedical and health sciences. In these 18-month programs our students take a broad array of courses that focus on the application of biostatistics in real-world settings, and reinforce their learning through collaborative experiences on actual health science research projects. We focus on creating quantitative researchers able to work as key components of interdisciplinary research teams, help design effective research studies, manage and analyze large and complex data sets, and disseminate methods and results through peer-reviewed publications.
You must have successfully completed the Bachelor degree (or equivalent overseas qualification) or/with full-time or equivalent, work experience in a relevant industry setting.Meeting the minimum academic requirements does not guarantee entry.
