Welcome to the Graduate Center for Public Policy and Administration (GCPPA) at California State University, Long Beach. The GCPPA offers a NASPAA-accredited MPA degree that is designed to prepare students to lead and manage productively in public and nonprofit organizations. The MPA degree is provided in both on-campus and distance learning versions. The distance learning program is an accelerated program designed for in-service practitioners that combines both on-campus and online education in a blended format.
You must have successfully completed an United States Bachelor degree (or equivalent overseas qualification) or/with full-time or equivalent, work experience in a relevant industry setting. Meeting the minimum academic requirements does not guarantee entry. Your application will still need to be assessed and accepted. If you dont meet the entry requirements, there may be other programs you are eligible for that can lead you to your preferred program.
