Students from Australia are accepted for this course

Massey’s Master of Engineering Studies is a high-quality programme, combining taught and research courses at a postgraduate level, able to be completed in one year full-time. If you are already working, or your research experience is limited, this qualification will give you the learning you need to take your career to the next level or pursue more in-depth postgraduate research. While you will gain a thorough knowledge of the fundamental principles of engineering, the Master of Engineering Studies emphasises on the application of your engineering learnings to complex real-world industrial problems. Massey staff have strong relationships with industry and you can utilise these to find projects of relevance to you. The degree will help you gain expertise in an area outside of the focus of your undergraduate qualification, or current employment, or help you progress your career in your area of interest. You can choose from a number of endorsements. Massey is the only New Zealand university to offer an endorsement/major in innovation management.

Around 7,000 students are enrolled at Albany. This campus has grown since then and an on-campus accommodation facility opened in semester one 2015.
