You will benefit significantly from new knowledge in specialist areas including big data, digital cultures, media broadcasting and reform, and transnational media. You will be given a wider global perspective through a grounding in the social, economic and political context of media and communications. We will expose you to the latest debates in media and communications and introduce you to current cutting edge research. This helps your learning and can inform your choice of specialism. Our module options in Sociology allow you to approach your specialism from an innovative angle. You will benefit from improved analytical and critical skills and the development of diverse methodological approaches and tools.
You must have successfully completed the Bachelor degree (or equivalent overseas qualification) or/with full-time or equivalent, work experience in a relevant industry setting.Meeting the minimum academic requirements does not guarantee entry.
