Our Master of Arts in School Psychology provides a background in the theories, major knowledge and methodological procedures in psychology. We combine traditional classroom learning and extensive field experience to help you build knowledge and skills simultaneously. This program (or its equivalent) is required for admission into the Educational Specialist (Ed. S.) program. The M.A. and Ed.S. in School Psychology combine to meet the requirements for NJ Department of Education certification in School Psychology. Please note that the School Psychology program is divided into two programs, the Masters of Arts in School Psychology and the Educational Specialist Degree, and each have distinct admissions criteria. Admission to the M.A. program does not guarantee admission to the Ed. S. program.
