About the course
This 120-point Diploma provides a way to add depth to your BAS or BBSc or similar degree, and can act as a stepping stone to Masters study. If youre already working in the industry, the Diploma will give you up-to-date professional development in your area of interest. Youll study a combination of courses from 200 to 400 level. The Diploma gives you the flexibility to choose courses that fit your career goals, and can help you decide on a topic for your Masters research if you intend to do a Master of Architectural Studies. Get the skills to create engaging and functional outdoor spaces. Youll develop an understanding of your role as an architect in caring for the environment and enhancing it through design, with particular attention to New Zealands landscape. In planning for future development, youll look at things like how to manage flood risk or creating a long-term development plan for a city.
