Since the banking crisis, risk managers have been increasingly sought after. Large companies rely on them to advise on appropriate risk-taking, identify and assess threats, and decide how to avoid, reduce or transfer risks. Our Finance and Risk Management MSc will develop your knowledge of risk management theory at a company, country and international level, investigating contemporary debates and controversies in risk management. This course is part of our Finance MSc programmed. All students complete the same core finance modules, then from the end of the first term you will be able to tailor the course to your individual strengths and career aspirations through option modules and the option to specialize in one of five areas. The other specialisms offered are: Finance and Accounting MSc Finance and Banking MSc Finance and Investment MSc Economics and Finance MSc.
You must have successfully completed an United Kingdom Bachelor degree (or equivalent overseas qualification) or/with full-time or equivalent, work experience in a relevant industry setting.Meeting the minimum academic requirements does not guarantee entry. Your application will still need to be assessed and accepted.If you dont meet the entry requirements, there may be other programs you are eligible for that can lead you to your preferred program.
