This course is designed to respond to a growing public health agenda – promoting physical activity and other health-enhancing lifestyle behaviors to keep us healthy. Youll examine the science that underpins the causes, prevention and treatment of acute and chronic disease and injury, from acute sports injuries through to the management of long-term conditions. Youll learn in our specialist facilities which include labs that are accredited by the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES), extensive sporting facilities, and a new research and teaching gym. Option modules will help you tailor the degree to your interests and a placement will provide you with professional experience.
