As sustainability moves up the agenda and environmental laws and regulations proliferate, there is a growing need to understand and assess human impact on the environment. This course provides a comprehensive overview of methods for assessing and managing the environmental impacts of policies, plans, programmed, projects and organizations. It also looks at the legal and institutional frameworks in which they operate. You will develop a range of communication, teamworking and problem-solving skills, and gain the understanding to apply processes such as environmental impact assessment, environmental management and auditing systems to real-world situations.
