The Ph.D. programs in biostatistics and genomic biostatistics are designed to train the next generation of data scientists and quantitative researchers as leaders in the biomedical and health sciences. Our students engage in a multifaceted learning experience balanced between a broad yet flexible selection of graduate-level coursework and experiential learning, where students will enforce theoretical concepts with real-world applications and collaborations on actual research projects. We focus on creating well-rounded biostatistical researchers able to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary research groups with the ability to create new biostatistical and analytic methods for cutting edge research problems.
