Studying the universe is a pretty tall order but we’ll support you every step of the way. Not only will you study underpinning core physics but you’ll get to apply it to fascinating astronomy concepts including extragalactic astronomy, stellar evolution, cosmology and space science. Optical telescopes in our on-campus observatory, radio telescopes and solarscopes are all available for you to use alongside the theory. Together with teaching from our expert staff and small lab groups you’ll be developing technical and problem solving skills that are vital for employers.
