The course combines practical and theoretical aspects of flight, with the underlying principles of aircraft engineering. During your studies, you’ll develop the skills to recognise and alleviate risk, create a safe and efficient operating environment, and gain competence in assessing and communicating vital information. Combining mathematics, science, computer-based methods, design and engineering you will learn to solve complex aircraft engineering problems.This course is also available with an integrated masters route. You will: Build in-depth knowledge of avionic systems, including communication, flight instruments, flight management and passenger systemsExplore business economics in route planning, learning the techniques and methodologies used for aircraft navigationComplete a flight test course using the Cranfield National Flying Laboratory CentreChoose to include an optional structured pilot training programme leading to the opportunity to gain a Private Pilot Licence
