Throughout the program, youll learn the tools, techniques, practices and core fundamentals of a variety of geographical areas, including basic geography, transnational geography, physical geography, human geography, human-environmental geography and regional geography. Dozens of electives within those areas allow you to pursue multiple passions and study the topics that most interest you.
Coursework incorporates cultures and environments from across the globe. Youll learn from expert, dedicated professors who regularly travel to different countries to bring their international perspectives right to you. Youll also have plenty of opportunities to join them by studying abroad, participating in a faculty-led field study or enrolling in a cultural immersion program. One of the few programs of its kind, our transnational geographies degree illustrates how geography impacts nations across the world — and transforms you into a truly global citizen.
