About the course
As a student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Journalism, you will study the practice, theory, ethics, and impact of covering news events. The focus is on traditional skills as well as the use of new technologies.With courses in theory, writing, reporting, editing, history, law, and ethics, journalism students learn to be professional news reporters and editors. They master journalism basic skills—researching, reporting, writing, and copy editing—while working with new technologies, including digital means of disseminating news. While students gain the practical information they need to work in traditional and emerging journalism jobs, they also become lifelong critical consumers of news and information.
