The B.S. in Financial Technology offers concentrations in actuarial science and financial engineering and provides students the opportunity to apply mathematical, statistical and programming tools to the financial, risk management and actuarial disciplines. Designed to meet the growing need for quantitative modeling and analysis, the program is technical and interdisciplinary in nature. The curriculum emphasizes courses in finance, statistics and mathematics with supporting courses in related areas. Courses in the program are approved by the Society of Actuaries and Casualty Actuarial Society as satisfying Validation by Education Experience (VEE) requirements.
