Mental health nurses help patients understand and manage their condition, take positive steps towards recovery, and minimise the impact of their mental health on everyday life. Working in community or hospital settings, you will support patients of all ages and backgrounds, with diverse conditions such as anxiety, depression, addiction, eating disorders, OCD, perinatal depression and more. This three-year mental health nursing degree is accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council and provides the opportunity to train in one of Londons leading departments for nursing. You will graduate with the skills and knowledge to start your career with confidence, due to the wide range of professional experiences built into your training.
You must have successfully completed the Year 12 (or equivalent senior secondary school qualification) Equivalent qualifications may also include a recognised post secondary diploma in the relevant discipline with the required grades.Meeting the minimum academic requirements does not guarantee entry.
