Traditionally, actuaries have used data to answer financial risk problems. However, two significant trends are transforming the world of finance: an increase in the volume and types of data, and a concentration on risk management. This programmed will get students to learn about the classic actuarial approach to risk management, as well as some of the most recent areas of data science, such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, and their practical applications in finance and insurance.
You must have successfully completed a Malaysian year 12 (or equivalent senior secondary school qualification) Equivalent qualifications may also include a recognised post secondary diploma in the relevant discipline with the required grades.Meeting the minimum academic requirements does not guarantee entry.
