Study human health and the causes, prevention and treatment of disease, studied from the molecular details in the body to the symptoms and pathology of diseases. This course will equip you with the skills and knowledge to be a part of the next generation of biomedical research scientists. Youll learn to apply biological sciences to explore human health and the causes, prevention and treatment of diseases such as cancer and Parkinson’s disease. Youll study a broad range of topics including genetics, genomics, human physiology, cancer, pathology, infection and immunity, molecular and cellular biology, biochemistry and pharmacology.
You must have successfully completed an UK Year 12 (or equivalent senior secondary school qualification). Equivalent qualifications may also include a recognised post secondary diploma in the relevant discipline with the required grades. Meeting the minimum academic requirements does not guarantee entry. Your application will still need to be assessed and accepted.If you dont meet the entry requirements, there may be other programs you are eligible for that can lead you to your preferred program.
