Beyond the classroom As a chemical engineering student at WMU, you will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on projects with local industry, qualify for our departmental scholarships, and become a member of the Sunseeker solar racing team. WMUs College of Engineering and Applied Sciences also has more than 25 student organizations open to you, including the Chemical Engineering Club and Society of Women Engineers.
