About the course
On successful completion of the Bachelor of Psychological Science with Honours, graduates will be able to:
Integrate a coherent and advanced body of knowledge with depth in major theoretical perspectives and concepts, and philosophical and historical developments, in the core areas of psychology.
Review, analyse, consolidate and synthesise knowledge and evidence bases in the core areas of psychology.
Review and reflect on the methods and ethics of scientific investigation as applied to psychology.
Exercise critical thinking and judgment in the design and conduct of scientific investigations to solve psychological questions with intellectual independence.
Apply advanced English language, and technological and numeracy skills to generate, interpret and communicate knowledge, data, arguments and research findings appropriate for a variety of audiences.
Adapt and apply research skills and psychological understanding, including where appropriate knowledge of cultural diversity, to investigate human and animal behaviour in diverse contexts.
Demonstrate responsibility and accountability for one’s own learning and practice and in collaboration with others.

Founded in April 2003, JCU Singapore awards degrees and certification on behalf of JCU Australia. This university was established as an international campus of the JCU Australia, and it completely follows the academic curriculum of its parent university. The university has an Inter-Campus Mobility Programme, which allows students studying on the Singapore campus to pay the tuition fee in their domestic currency. This university has earned one of the highest levels of quality assurance in the country called The Edutrust Star. In addition to this, it is the first organization to receive this award. JCU Singapore has also received the honorable SQC STAR.
In the year 2018, the student enrolment of the university comprised 85% undergraduates and 15% of graduates. The student demographics had 37% of international students coming from different parts across the world. In addition to this, 97% of the students secured lucrative employment offers in less than a period of 6 months. In the same year, 57% of the students graduate from the psychology major offered by this university.
JCU Singapore is home to many notable alumni who have built great careers for themselves. This university has an alumni association, which makes efforts to stay connected with the alumni of this university. This association often organizes meaningful events and activities to maintain contacts and increase their involvement in the university. The university campus shifted to its current location due to the increase in student enrolment.
