The Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies (B.I.S.) is an individualized and interdisciplinary program for students who wish to create a unique curricular pathway not available in traditional majors or existing VCU degree programs. The B.I.S. provides an opportunity for students to draw on knowledge and expertise from across the university. Students in this undergraduate degree program receive academic mentoring from the faculty in University College as they design an individualized curriculum aligned with their academic, career or personal goals.
